Mole Valley Farmers, an agricultural retailer across 56 locations, an ecommerce website and a farm building division has chosen to partner with Anaplan and Bedford Consulting to manage financial planning and stock planning processes in one central platform.
Mole Valley Farmers recognised the need for streamlined and collaborative planning processes, moving away from a legacy tool and multiple disparate spreadsheets without a clear picture of the business. Mole Valley Farmers are looking to Anaplan to deliver a platform which enables the finance team to make strategic decisions proactively and to spend more time analysing data, saving days on previous processes.
“We are excited to design our FP&A and stock planning processes in Anaplan with the support from Bedford Consulting’s expert team. We will be enabled to make better decisions through increased visibility and transparency into business drivers as well as giving time back across the team.” Karen Whitren, Retail Financial Controller. “In an ever-changing economic environment, our traditional planning methods were not viable. To support our success and sustainability we need an agile approach to reforecasting based on a wide range of factors that affect the business.”
“At Bedford, we are thrilled to welcome Mole Valley Farmers to the family, by delivering a robust FP&A tool, the team will see huge benefits moving away from manual planning to proactive “what-if” scenario planning and integrated financial statements with stock levels.” Paul Rawlinson, Chief Customer Officer, Bedford Consulting
