Welcome to our latest meet the team blog. Today we introduce Veerendra Mullapudi who joined Bedford in 2022. Veerendra is a Professional Services Consultant, with extensive experience in building Anaplan solutions including Territory & Quota, Incentive Compensation and FP&A. In his spare time, Veerendra enjoys trying new restaurants and watching movies.

What made you consider joining Bedford?

I was excited by the opportunity to take on more project responsibilities with exposure to different use cases. I relocated and I felt Bedford was a good fit for me with the ability to learn from my colleagues and be part of a welcoming team as it is my first time moving out of India.

What are you most proud of?

Giving my 100% to the work I’ve been doing, helping others the best I can.

What’s your favourite part of working at Bedford?

The humility & helpful nature of all of my colleagues.

What’s the company like? How would you describe the team culture?

The team culture is very good, People are eager to learn and work. Although there is scope for growth, the company is doing a lot of things right in terms of attracting right talent.

How would you describe a typical day?

A typical day includes model building for my current project, meetings with the customer, tracking the status and making time for a laugh with my colleagues.

What’s the most important skill that someone will need to succeed as a consultant?

Understanding the end goal of the project, what needs to be achieved and the ability to break it into small objectives.

What is the biggest challenge that someone in this position would face?

Ensuring you have a complete picture of the project and managing conflicting priorities.

What have you learned in the last six months?

I learned that I could tackle all phases of the project, and (still learning) to ask the right questions that will help us with getting the right requirements.

Why do you stay at Bedford?

I stay at Bedford because of the people around me, the values and I believe in the direction of the company.
