What made you consider joining Bedford?
Bedford provides a productive environment to Anaplanners across the UKI and EMEA. It is a sustainable and trusted brand. It also aligned with my long-term objectives, the diversity of projects and clients they have delivered is, in my opinion, only second to Anaplan themselves, and this is what makes it a great place to work. I take pride in calling myself a trusted consultant from Bedford.
What are you most proud of?
The Bedford culture, the diversity of the people I work with and the value we deliver.
What’s your favourite part of working at Bedford?
There are many actually; I have space for my personal and professional growth, regular opportunities for open, honest discussion, flexible working hours, supportive policies, and colleagues from different cultures. The list is always growing.
Describe Bedford in 3 words
Intelligence, Integrity, Energy.
What’s the company like? How would you describe the team culture?
Bedford as a company is very transparent and communicative. Bedford management is dedicated to building a healthy team culture that helps everyone in the organisation feel valued and empowered to do their best work. Everyone in the team is aligned on the purpose, values, behaviours, and best working practices. They ensure we have time and space to have fun as a team.
How would you describe a typical day?
My day usually is a mix of long hour meetings and intellectual conversations with customers about deliverables, as well as working on project building. I always find enough time to take short breaks to read current affairs and talk to my family and friends.
What did you wish you knew before joining?
Nothing really. I would say Bedford always provided ways to help whenever I needed. “No Surprises” is engrained in the company’s culture.
What’s the most important skill that someone will need to succeed as a consultant?
Customer Engagement. It is an important skill to drive the conversation to the needs to the customer. Make sure they feel involved in every phase of the delivery and understand every aspect of what is being delivered to them.
What is the biggest challenge that someone in this position would face?
Uncertainty in what each day brings within the role and remaining agile amongst evolving deliverables.
What have you learned in the last six months?
I have acquired great relationship-building skills and learnt to work patiently with others.
Why do you stay at Bedford?
Life is easy and respectful at Bedford. Every day, every project is an opportunity to learn. Every teammate and client that I meet is focused on developing a great network. Above all I am happy.
