Welcome to our latest meet the team blog

Today we introduce Natalia Clancy who joined Bedford in 2014. Natalia is an Operations Manager and in her spare time likes to practice tai-chi and watch movies with her family.

What made you consider joining Bedford?

In 2013 I had just finished my internship at The British and Colombian Chamber of Commerce and an opportunity arose at Bedford. They were recruiting for an Executive Assistant which fitted nicely with my experience and goals at that time. I liked the fact it was a new role, focusing on implementing new administrative processes and I was ready to join a company where I could grow and develop ideas. I recall my interview with directors Stephen McKittrick and Neil Doyle, just before Christmas at our first office in Shakespeare House at Clapham Junction and my journey began in January 2014. 8 years later, I am an Operations Manager overseeing day to day operations and ensuring that key processes and practices are implemented effectively throughout Bedford.

What are you most proud of?

Bedford’s growth over the last 10 years! Including expansion to other territories, new cultures and 7 consecutive EMEA Partner of the Year awards.

What’s your favourite part of working at Bedford?

My favourite part is the flexible hours as it provides an excellent work-life balance in today’s unpredictable environment.

I was the first ever non-European at Bedford and now we have over 20 nationalities, we work as a team and strive to be the best, we’re also good fun and we learn from each other.

What’s the most important skill that someone will need to succeed in your role?

Paying attention to detail, very good time/task management as well as being a team player with good communication skills.

Why do you stay at Bedford?

I stay at Bedford because it is a family business, the leadership team always focus on making Bedford a great place to work, they embrace suggestions from the team are not afraid of change. Bedford’s aim is to the best, which makes me strive to the best in my role.
