itsu [grocery] launched its first product in 2011 and is on a mission to share delicious, healthy, Asian-inspired food with as many people as possible through shops and supermarkets in addition to their existing restaurant business. itsu [grocery] has been on an exponential growth journey, with plans to exceed £100m in net turnover by 2026 and has identified the need to enhance its S&OP processes, enabled by a single agile platform.
Partnering with Anaplan and Bedford Consulting, itsu [grocery] looks to maximise continued growth with plans to embed Anaplan for supply and demand planning, optimising sales and operational planning and alleviating complex processes currently managed in spreadsheets.
“Due to our exceptionally strong growth over the last few years, and our ambitious 5 year plan, we decided to proactively replace our spreadsheet based S&OP process, with the view of increasing automation, speed of decision making and reducing the potential for process errors. Anaplan stood out to me for its adaptability, both to fit existing processes but also its ability to evolve in order to meet future unforeseen demands.” Aidan Tyers, COO
“We are delighted to support itsu [grocery] during this exciting phase of optimising business processes. As the team grows, they’ll benefit from having an agile system in place enabling them to support the scale of adding new products, regions and suppliers.” Paul Rawlinson, Chief Customer Officer, Bedford Consulting
